Introduction

The Copia Retirement Risk Profiler is designed to help you offer Adviser support when Assessing Suitability for your Clients in decumulation.

You may have existing risk profiling tools but we can also help them in converting existing scores into our Risk Profiling Matrix.

The Copia Retirement Risk Profiler presents a Risk Profile score (1 to 5, where 5 is most risky) and a Time Horizon (four time horizon ranges, covering from 3 years to 25+ years), which you can use to select the Retirement Income portfolio that is most suitable for your Client.

The Copia Retirement Risk Profiler is a series of seven questions divided into the following sections:

  1. Investment time frame
  2. Knowledge and experience

** The Withdrawal Rate (50% confidence) is the statistical maximum a portfolio can support such that the likely median (50th percentile) terminal value is positive at the end of the investment term. Put differently, there is a 50% likelihood that the portfolio lasts the investment term or there is a 50% likelihood that there is insufficient capital to continue to pay this withdrawal rate to the end of the investment term.
